Overview
The Amagansett Fire Department is the first level of organized response to the community's call for help.
Our mission is to provide fire, rescue and emergency services to the residents and visitors of Amagansett, in order to ensure the protection of life and property. In addition, we will assist other neighboring area residents outside of Amagansett when assistance is requested by other departments. It is our intention to mitigate or minimize hazardous conditions at fires or other emergencies when called upon.
Area of protection: includes more than 12 square miles of land and over 18 miles of ocean and bay shoreline.
The year-round population of 1900 that jumps to 6000 people during the summer season.
